I wanted to keep today's card simple. Sometimes I find it nice to vary my style and methods. It helps to keep things interesting. I never like to stick with any one medium, or color or anything for that matter. I thrive on change and variety! Today I pulled out my adorable penguin set by CCDesigns. He was just itching to be used. I started out promising myself that I would not distress this piece.........you see it lasted to about the end of the card when my hand automatically reached for the ink and sponge and did this of its own accord.
recipe:
stamps: CCDesigns
Ink: Stewart Superior Black, Ranger distress in Spiced Marmalade and Broken China
Paper: Prism CS, Piggie Tales DP in Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater
Other: Prismacolor and Faber and Castel color pencils, Twinkling H2O's, Cuttlebug nested flower dies, Nestabilities square and scallop square, Jessie James glitter dots ( love them), white gel pen, May Art ribbon, black Copic multiliner pen .03, gold cording.
Image was stamped, colored and highlighted on cheeks and balloon with white gel pen. The rest is pretty easy. All products used are from All That Scraps.
Hugs
Sophie

This is super cute! I love the colors and pretty papers, as well as that adorable penguin!
It is soooooo cute!! I love the simple design. Beautiful colouring as always, of course. I think it is definitely needed to do different things.. it is way too easy to get stuck doing the same thing all the time *sigh*.
by the way, do you use a brush or aqua pen for colouring with inks?
you gave me so much inspiration so i have written down your bloggs name in my blogg... hopes thats ok ? www.helenaspysselplace.blogg.se
